Bokashi Mix

Bokashi One Mix to be used with Bokashi One Composters

This mix can be used with Bokashi One Composters to accelerate fermentation. Each bag weighs 1kg and is approximately 4 litres in volume.

Bokashi One Mix is a mixture of wheat bran, sawdust, rice husks, and micro-organisms. Bokashi One Mix is dried thoroughly so it can be stored for years with no loss of effectiveness. The dry ingredients in the mix are a carrier and food source for the micro-organisms which are dormant when dry in the packaging and activate again when added to your waste. Bokashi One Mix is now vegan too!

Bokashi One Mix ferments the waste in the Bokashi One™ Bucket and helps to eliminate unpleasant odors. When the waste is buried in the soil, the mix accelerates the breakdown of the waste and adds life and nutrients to the soil.
